About SMTC

Stichting Maritime Training Center, SMTC, was founded by Damen Shiprepair Curacao in 2017 in their wish to have enough trained professionals on the island. Training and education for students and professionals in the maritime, metallurgical, industry and logistics sector are organized.
Knowing that you can achieve more by working together VMTC is founded. In this association partners in similar industries will cooperate in their needs for educated professionals. The result is cost efficiency for the companies and more training efforts will be realised on the island for student and professionals.
